Exterior

Close garage doors

Remove cars from driveway and front of home

Mow, trim and rake landscaping

Remove visible hoses and garden equipment

Clean up pet waste and remove leashes

Move trash/recycling bins out of sight

Clean deck/patio furniture

Clean the pool; remove cover and visible hoses

Remove toys, sports equipment and other yard clutter

Interior

Open blinds, shades and curtains

Turn on all lights and replace burned-out bulbs

Hide shoes, charging cables and personal items

Clean windows and mirrors

Keep surfaces tidy and uncluttered

Fresh flowers or simple decor can add a welcoming touch

Living / Family Room

Remove magazines, papers and unnecessary items

Declutter fireplace mantel

Arrange pillows and furniture neatly

Put away children’s toys

Dining Room

Clear and dust the table

Straighten all chairs

Remove booster/high chairs

Set the table simply if desired

Bedrooms

Make all beds

Tuck sheets and straighten comforters

Clear nightstands of personal items and remotes

Hide phone/computer charging cables

Clear clutter from dressers

Remove visible items from under beds

Remove posters/stickers that may distract from the room

Bathrooms

Clear countertops

Put toilet seats down

Close cabinet doors

Leave clean, neatly arranged towels

Empty visible trash cans

Remove towels/robes from doors

Remove scatter rugs when possible to show flooring

Put away toiletries, razors, soaps and shower products

Kitchen

Clear countertops

Clear the refrigerator exterior

Hide trash cans

Put dishes away

Remove rags and sponges from the sink

Remove scatter rugs when possible to show flooring

Pets

Remove food/water bowls, beds, litter boxes and toys

Remove pet hair from furniture

Keep pets safely out of the property during the shoot
